Most Bike Friendly City In The World?
Many people believe that Amsterdam is the most bike friendly city in the world and after visiting there I am inclined to agree. This photo was taken at one of the main bike parking garages and it has 2500 spaces for bikes but upwards of 4000 are parked there everyday.
And as you navigate the city street cyclists get the same respect and follow the same rules as automobiles. It was tempting to rent a bike and go for a ride but it was also a little intimidating as well. If I were to go back I’d probably use a service like Mike’s Bike Tours to help me explore the city on two wheels.
