July 22, 2013 – Chobe National Park, Botswana
While we were in Victoria Falls we were able to take a one-day trip into Botswana. What we saw and experienced, along with what we’ve heard from other travellers and Africans makes us want to go back to see more.
Botswana is known for its density of wildlife. We saw elephants, buffalo, crocodiles and antelope all simultaneously and pretty much immediately. Our boat and truck safaris were both continuous animal viewing, from the crocodile next to the boat as we pulled away from the dock (my first crocodile) to the elephant herds hanging around near the park exit as we headed home, there was always something amazing to see.
