Our African Safari
We have had an amazing week “on safari”. We saw elephants rip trees down from 30 feet away, rhinos peacefully munching grass so close you could almost touch them and cheetahs half-heartedly chasing a few blesboks along of the reserve boundary fence. I’ve decided that there are far too many photos I really want to share to do it at once, so I’m going to go one animal at a time, starting today with the rhinos.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve wanted to go to Africa and I’ve wanted to go on a safari. When Daryle and I were in the early phases of planning our trip, we quickly realized that we weren’t going to be able to go everywhere we’d like, so we each made a top pick. Africa in general and the safari in particular was mine.
It was a good choice.
And now, a few rhino photos…see you next for elephants.
